Road To Fame Challenge!!
Hello fellow simmer! Would you like your sim to be the next Joannethescammer, Blameitonkway, lalasizahands89, Jesshilarious, etc? The next Cardi B maybe? Or maybe your sims can't actually crack jokes or sing and they'll be an Simstagram model instead and promote "Flat tummy tea" for the simoleons? Either way, if your answer was yes to any of those question above than this challenge is for you! Lol
But foreal this is challenge i came up with in my head a couple days ago and tested a little just to try something new. I've done all the challenge on the list that i'm actually interested in and my simself game-play is starting to bore me a little. So i thought why not try mashup the "Rosebud" challenge with the Road To Fame mod plus a little extra on the side. I made the challenge semi real for myself, which i have to spend money on things you usually get for free. So just a warning if your not up to that then this definitely not for you. However if you are interested in it, then let get into the rules! ^_^
Rules:
CAS -
Your sims can have any traits and be of any kind of species as you like. No discrimination for this challenge lol
However make your sim with certain flaws that can be fixed. You'll understand why later on in the rules! For example, I made my simmie with imperfect teeth, her top lip being smaller than the bottom lip and an upside down triangle shape (wide shoulders/big boobs and small hip/butt)
Sim may have a toddler/child but once you leave CAS no more until you're stable
This one might hurt for you simmers against MM BUT your sim must start out with clay hair. It doesn't exactly have to be Ea hair but it must be clay! You can't have bundles and be struggling at the same time.
Oh yea, the makeup has to be Ea though lol Everything except the contacts if you're a simmer who uses them and if you have defaults that fine also! AND if you want to be extra like me, you can do acc the same way. I won't give ya'll a heart attack though so it's your choice lol
Age is optional for this challenge (I don't like it at all)
Lot/Home -
When moving in pick any lot of your choice, it really didn't matter in my game-play
Use $10,000 to build a house and put necessities in home. (Bed, Stove, Counter, Fridge, Toilet, Sink, Shower/Tub, Dining table/Island to eat on)
Take away the rest of whatever funds you have left
Cheats -
The only cheats allowed are "bb.movedobjects on", "Testingcheats true" (to get the next cheat to work), and "money #"
Aspiration points may be used to buy buffs during this challenge (I personally didn't use them)
Job/Money -
Get money by doing the obvious, selling things! Collecting fossil or Mysims, fishing, gardening, painting, i'll even allow stealing! lol Aye we gotta make it somehow!
Your sim can't start their Simstagram until they save up $250 to buy their phone and turn it on.
Once you have $500, you can get an actual job if you'd like to bring in some quick simoleons. Especially since you wont b getting anything for the Simstagram businesses at the beginning. (I joined the social media job because it went along with whole point of this challenge and you can also get advertisement money from this career too)
Every promotion that you earn, your sims may get a new look. I know when i get bonuses money i buy clothes, makeup and get my hair did lol
Now that you have $1000 saved up, you can go ahead and upgrade the things in your house or just go ahead and Decorate. No more living in a plain box! Balling!
Travel -
Every time you travel somewhere in the simmie world, you must pay $10! However when returning home, you don't have to pay the toll. Not all Ubers are cruel
If you're invited out by one of the townies than you don't have to pay. Unless they ain't shit and wouldn't pick yo ass up lmao
Sims can buy themselves a car once they have the funds for it and they no longer have to pay for the Uber :) Balling!!
Simstagram Rewards -
100 k followers: You may quit your job at this point and just rely on the business advertisements solely.
500 k followers: Your simmie gets contacted by a small surgical office who offers one small procedure for promo. ( Lip Injections, Botox, Dental Work, Dermal Filler, Chemical Peel, Laser Hair Removal )
1 Mil followers: The last promotion deal went so good, that the company offered you another procedure of your choice! This time they added on some bigger surgeries to the list. (Fat transfer, Lipo, Butt implants,
Breast Augmentation, Mommy Makeover, Rhinoplasty)
Also give them a big glow up at 1 Mil. They better not be still rocking the same clothes they started off in, they ain't gotta shop in Rainbows/Forever 21 no more at this point.
Level 4 Simstagram: No more clay hair chilee, You getting blessed with these promo bundles! BALLING!
Level 5 Simstagram: Significant others may be moved in at this point! Now that you've mastered this skill, you can finally concentrate on your love life.
You're free to move out your struggle shack once you and your partner are married! Babies may be made after the move to the new house.
Goal:
Max out Simstagram skill
Have over 5 million followers
500,000 saved up
Get married and have at least have one kid
Have a vehicle
Lot worth of at least 50,000
This challenge may be easy for some, it may be hard on some of ya'll. I know some rules i made for myself were hard but i'm having fun doing it!
